Eric Peyron is going to be scribing the pages of Wolfenheart!!!! We're currently banging away on this script, workin together and collaborating on what's shaping up to be a VERY cool story.

So far it's evolved from a single issue to a trade paper back sized story arc all wrapped in one package to (hopefully) take to publishers when it's finished. AND HE'S ONLY BEEN THE "OFFICIAL" WRITER FOR LIKE.... AN HOUR. F**K YEA!!!

I'll give a a little backstory on this project...

In 1981 my Dad, Bruce Townsend, created a few characters with the intent of making a book for Marvel. He had a story, artwork and was in talks with Joe Quesada about it.

Then I was born.

Everything went out the window. He dropped the idea of working in the comics idea a few years after I was born and these characters never went anywhere.

About a 2 years ago, my dad gave me those drawings to scan and colorize for practice. I fell in love with em! And they gave me a REALLY good idea (or good as far as I'm concerned :wink: for a book.

I'm looking for an artist to do the line art for the book. I'm an ok penciler, but again, I'm a colorist. And I don't think my lines would do these characters that I love so much justice. Thor fans encouraged!!!

Here's the problem, it'd be unpaid work. Yea, I know. But before you stop reading, consider that this project would be great experience for your portfolio, and that just because you aren't gettin paid right now, that doesn't mean you won't get paid later.
I DO plan on trying to get the book published once we've got a few issues under our belts, but for now, it'd be a web-comic that we can all post here at dA for exposure. We can work out royality contracts when the publishing time comes. It's just that I can't afford to pay for artwork right now. It sucks, because I KNOW you'd deserve to get paid. But because of that, I'm pretty loose as far as deadlines go. A pace of 1 to 2 pages per week would be great. But like I said, I'm pretty loose because of not being able to pay.

I know there are MASSES of untapped talent here at dA just waiting for a project to come along that they can get excited about. Maybe this is that project for you?

Note me if you're interested. In a private note I'll disclose all the details and backstory for the book, along with giving the drawings my Dad did as reference so you can redesign the characters.
