Now I'm curious. For future reference, what did I do here that reminds you of silver age comics?

I'd like to know so I can replicate it if I'm asked to do it again. Or if I want to do it again, on purpose this time.

the thing here is... you keep it very simple, there's not much detail in things like the body and accesories...

nowadays color artists are trying to be more realistic, they add higlights, too much, they use gradual colors, and that stuff is great but the way it was that time just was the simple colors and little higlights.

also the lines, they're very hard, you don't see that these days when you can clean and leave it very simple.

i don't know if I got explained jajaja

Yea. Well the colors I kinda just breezed through. Didn't realy focus on detail and more on just gettin in in there and showin a little depth and movin on. lol

And the inks... I inked that piece digitaly.
Todd McFarlane does it now ALL the time for Spawn and Digitally Inking can be great, when used on the proper content.
Spawn works really well with the bit rougher DigiInks, as does this Skaar piece, I think.

Thanks for all the kind words!! I appreciate somebody actually taking the time out to put a thoutfull critique in!!

Thanks!!! It's not really what I was going for... although I wasn't really going for anything in particular.

I guess I did it by accident. Thanks for the kind words!
